The A5200GL solid body government locks are designed to stringent government standards CID-A-A-59486 and CID-A-A-59487. Solid steel lock body is 1-3/4" wide x 3/4" thick, stamped with "US". Shackle is 5/16" hardened steel. They features a five-pin tumbler cylinder for more than 10,000 key changes and a dual locking mechanism for superior pry resistance. For added security, all models have non-removable keys.
Additional variations are available to be built to your specific requirements:
• Combine individual locks into custom sets consisting of any quantity or keying combination
• Padlocks can be keyed alike or master keyed
• Chain attachments available to attach to shackle so lock cannot be removed
Counter the ever-growing security threat of lock “bumping” with this patent-pending technology. The BumpStop™ feature prevents the transfer of force from the bump key to the pins and blocks rotation of the cylinder so that the lock remains locked. A reverse rake tapered driver pin, high performance spring and precision tolerance chamber make these locks four times more resistant to bumping than the toughest proposed anti-bump industry standard.
